OUR STAFF

Barrett Jordan

Our Senior Pastor worked with a great group of people in 2002 to plant Redeemer church in Teays Valley and has been blessed to see God take it from a church meeting in the YMCA and movie theater to our own location next to Mountain View Elementary. He is a graduate of Samford University and Reformed Theological Seminary. Pastor Barrett is married to Judy and has three great kids. He loves Jesus, Nascar, West Virginia and going to the beach whenever possible

Heather Hall

Our Administrative Assistant is a graduate of Marshall University trained in Public Relations. She is married to Mike and is a mother of two great kids. She is also involved in various ministries at Redeemer, including our praise team. Her office hours are Monday-Thursday 10:15-2:15 pm.

Eric Dugan

Our Assistant Pastor of Student Ministries has tons of experience working with students as a youth pastor, camp director, teacher, special education teacher and counselor in PA, NJ, NY, MS and WV. He received his BA in Biblical Studies from Geneva College and his MA in Theology from Reformed Theological Seminary. He loves movies, deep theological conversations, The Walking Dead and hanging out with students. He is the author of several books including the Game Guide and Youth Group studies of various books of the Bible.

Kurt Gray

Our new Assistant Pastor is a West Virginia native who graduated from Marshall University before attending Reformed Theological Seminary. He oversees our small groups ministries. He and his wife Audrey live in Scott Depot.

OUR OFFICERS

The Elders

The over-all ministry at Redeemer is overseen by the board of elders who pray for and offer encouragement and spiritual guidance to the many men and women who oversee the various ministries of our church.

Our elders are Pastors Barrett Jordan and Eric Dugan with Mark Beilstein, Jeremy Bias, Steve Gray, Jim Mayfield, Brad Phelps and Harry Yates.

The Deacons

Our deacons take the lead on many of the physical needs of the church, such as maintaining the property, and also lead our compassion ministries helping the elderly and others in need.

Our deacons include Harry Griffin, Scott Gray, Mike Hall, Tom Lyvers, Tom Ogle, Carlos Parra, Bill Stevens and Jon Wood.

Our Fantastic Volunteer Leaders

These men don’t serve alone! The many ministries of the church include worship team, youth ministries, prayer, Sunday school, nursery, children’s church, vacation Bible school, men’s fellowship, women’s ministries, community discipleship groups, cleaning, decorating, fellowship dinners and many more. We have dozens and dozens of incredbly gifted men and women who volunteer in these great ministries.
